Right of Withdrawal

Information on the Right of Withdrawal & Withdrawal Form

Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

A. Instructions on Withdrawal – Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Arret Du Coeur, Münsterstraße 306, 40470 Düsseldorf, Germany, Email: info@arretducoeur.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

B. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen (14) days from the day we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment you used in the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen (14) days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen (14) days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling them in a way that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties, and functioning of the goods.

C. General Notes

  1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure suitable packaging is used to provide adequate protection against transport damage.

  2. Please do not send the goods back to us freight collect.

  3. Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

D. Partial Withdrawal

If you are entitled to withdraw from your order and you exercise this right in respect to only part of the items ordered, and as a result, the total purchase price paid or to be refunded falls below a threshold we had communicated (e.g., for free shipping), we reserve the right to charge you for the proportionate shipping costs related to the remaining items.
